In the 18th round of Idea Ekstraklasa Legia Warszawa lost 0:1 to Odra Wodzislaw, one of the weakest teams at the moment. It is the second consecutive ligue defeat of the club from Warsaw, preceded by two draws and the only victory of the spring season in the first match following a winter break. The team aspiring to the top place just several weeks ago seem to have completely forgotten what is ... soccer.
None of the lines played well. Few shots from the hosts, including Tomasz Kielbowicz's nice free kick just before the end of the first period, were saved by Odra goalkeeper, Mariusz Pawelek. In the very first minutes of the second half Legia started to play more aggressive football, but on 54 minutes the visitor's midfielder, Jan Wos, following a superb individual action, managed to beat Artur Boruc. The goal deflated Legia and it was only Poland's second-choice goalkeeper who saved Warsaw team from bigger defeat. Tomasz Kielbowicz had one more chance to equalise from the free kick, but missed by inches. Following the final whistle, Legia supporters booed the players and in a sombre mood left the stadium. Legia Warszawa - Odra Wodzislaw (0:0) 0:1 Legia Warszawa: Artur Boruc, Tomasz Kielbowicz, Wojciech Szala, Jakub Rzezniczak, Pawel Kaczorowski (67' Zjawinski), Tomasz Sokolowski I (63' Kowalski), Marcin Smolinski (46' Vukovic), Lukasz Surma, Tomasz Sokolowski II, Piotr Wlodarczyk, Marek Saganowski
