Legia Warsaw showed excellent performance in last twenty minutes 3-1 and finally won over Wodzisław in League Cup.
This result promoted Legia for semifinal of this competition.Despite the fact that Legia had lost first meeting 0-1 and must execute losses in revenge, coach of Legia Dragomir Okuka gave chance to the players who rather seldom appearing recently in Legia's lineup. Mariusz Piekarski was one of these players and he first scored in '45. After the break Tomasz Sokolowski ('58) and Aleksander Voković ('89( scored and Legia won promotion to Polish League Cup semi-finals.
